Tex-Fin solder dipped bonded finned tubes are edge tension wound to assure proper fin to tube contact before the solder is applied. The soldering process creates a fin attachment that is ideal for forming or bending.
Solder dipped finned tubes are commonly used in applications with temperatures ranging from -300 degrees Fahrenheit to +450 degrees Fahrenheit.
| Tube Sizes: | 9/16" O.D. to 2" O.D. |
| Fin Heights: | ¼" to 1" |
| Fin Pitch: | 5 to 13 fins per inch |
Tex-Fin root solder bonded finned tubes are edge tension wound in the same manner as the solder dipped fintube. The soldering process utilizes enough solder to bond the base of the fin to the tube. This leaves most of the fin surface clean of any solder coating, which may impede heat transfer capabilities.
Root solder bonded finned tubes are commonly used in applications with temperatures ranging from -300 degrees Fahrenheit to +450 degrees Fahrenheit.
| Tube Sizes: | 3/8" O.D. to 2" O.D. |
| Fin Heights: | 1/4" to 1" |
| Fin Pitch: | 4 to 13 fins per inch |
Tex-Fin's Brazed Finned Tubes offer an alternative to welded fins for applications requiring smaller O.D. or thinner wall tubes with a strong fin to tube bond. The fin material is edge wound on to the tube and then furnace brazed.
Brazed Finned Tubes are commonly used in applications with metal temperatures up to 650° Fahrenheit, and with special coating, 1200° Fahrenheit.
| Tube Sizes: | 9/16" O.D. to 2" O.D. |
| Fin Heights: | 1/4" to 1" |
| Fin Pitch: | 5 to 13 fins per inch |
Tex-Fin's Longitudinal Solder Finned Tubes are made of brass or copper alloy combinations. The fin material is formed into U-shaped channels and arranged on the surface of the tube in a symetrical pattern and attached by solder.
Longitudinal Solder Finned Tubes are generally used in application where the enviroment is corrosive to carbon or stainless steals, with temperatures up to 350° Fahrenheit.
| Tube Sizes: | 3/4" O.D. to 2" O.D. |
| Fin Heights: | 7/32" (0.21") to 5/8" |
| Fin Pitch: | 16 to 40 fins per inch |
Tex-Fin's Perforated Finned Tubes maximize heat transfer by increasing the air flow across the finned area of the tube. Uniform perforations are created in the fin as it passes through the machine. These perforations are arranged like spokes of a wheel and can manufactured in Emmbedded and L-Foot fin configurations.
Perforated Fins can manufactured out of aluminum or copper.
| Tube Sizes: | 3/8" O.D. to 2" O.D. |
| Fin Heights: | 1/4" to 1" |
| Fin Pitch: | 4 to 13 fins per inch |
Tex-Fin turbulators are spiral strips that can be easily installed to promote turbulence within the tube and enhance heat transfer of certain viscous fluids. Turbulators are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and nickel alloys.

Belled end tubes are required in applications where finned tubes for maintenance purposes must pass through stationary tube sheets. Tex-Fin's integral belled end finned tube eliminates the need for expensive silver brazing of the tube to bell and greatly extends the life of the belled end finned tube beyond that of any mechanically attached belled end.

Tube supports can be provided to customer specifications. Wiggle strips, aluminum, or galvanized steel preformed strips that provide support in applications where tube pitch and fin O.D. create a space may be used. In applications where tube weight may be supported by fins, aluminum wrap on bands may be used.
